VoiceToAyah Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 26, 2026

VoiceToAyah respects the privacy of its users and is designed to collect and retain only the information necessary to provide and improve its functionality.

This Privacy Policy explains how VoiceToAyah accesses, processes, uses, retains, and shares information when you use the VoiceToAyah application or website.

1. No Account Required

The current version of VoiceToAyah does not require you to create an account or sign in.

You are not required to connect a Google, Facebook, or other third-party account to use the current VoiceToAyah service.

VoiceToAyah currently does not collect account profile information, passwords, social-media credentials, or similar account information because these account features are not part of the current release.

2. Microphone Access and Voice Search

VoiceToAyah's primary voice-search feature allows you to recite part of a Quran verse and search for its corresponding location in the Quran.

Microphone access is used only when you choose to initiate a voice search.

Voice recording begins only after you initiate the voice-search function and grant VoiceToAyah permission to access the microphone. If microphone permission has not been granted, VoiceToAyah does not initiate voice recording.

VoiceToAyah does not continuously listen to your microphone and does not initiate microphone recording without the required permission. The microphone is not used for advertising, tracking, profiling, or background monitoring.

When you initiate a voice search and microphone permission has been granted, the recorded audio is transmitted securely to VoiceToAyah's processing infrastructure so that speech-recognition and Quran-search systems can process the query and attempt to identify the corresponding Quran verse.

Microphone access is therefore used solely to provide the voice-search functionality requested by you.

3. Voice Recording Retention

Voice recordings submitted for ordinary VoiceToAyah searches are processed transiently.

The production service does not retain your voice recording as a stored audio recording after the search has finished processing, regardless of whether VoiceToAyah successfully identifies a Quran verse.

Temporary audio required to perform the search is removed after processing is completed.

VoiceToAyah does not maintain a production archive or library of users' ordinary voice-query recordings.

4. Technical Diagnostic Information

VoiceToAyah may retain limited technical diagnostic information associated with searches and application operation.

This may include information such as a randomly generated request identifier, processing timings, audio-signal measurements such as duration and signal levels, recognition-engine status, search or match status, an identified Quran reference where applicable, application or server errors, and similar operational information.

This technical information may be used for troubleshooting, development analysis, security, reliability monitoring, and improving the performance and accuracy of VoiceToAyah.

Production diagnostic logging is designed not to retain the user's voice recording or a transcript of what the user recited.

Diagnostic information is not used to build advertising profiles or to track users across other companies' applications or websites.

5. Advertising, Tracking and Profiling

VoiceToAyah does not use voice recordings or voice-search diagnostic information for advertising.

VoiceToAyah does not sell or rent users' voice recordings, voice-query information, or associated diagnostic information.

VoiceToAyah does not use this information for cross-app advertising tracking, behavioral advertising, or commercial user profiling.

The current version of VoiceToAyah does not request permission to track users across other companies' applications or websites for advertising purposes.

VoiceToAyah does not seek advertising or sponsorship partnerships that require access to users' microphone recordings or voice-search diagnostic information.

6. Sharing of Information

VoiceToAyah does not sell, rent, trade, or provide users' voice recordings, voice-query information, or associated diagnostic information to advertisers, sponsors, data brokers, or other companies for advertising, marketing, cross-app tracking, or user profiling.

VoiceToAyah's technical infrastructure and hosting or network service providers may necessarily process or transmit information solely as required to operate the service. Such infrastructure processing does not authorize those providers to use VoiceToAyah user information for VoiceToAyah advertising or marketing purposes.

VoiceToAyah does not intentionally disclose microphone recordings or voice-search diagnostic information to unrelated third parties for their own commercial purposes.

7. User-Initiated Sharing

VoiceToAyah includes a Share Card feature that allows you to intentionally share the Quranic result identified through your voice search.

The Share Card is generated from the Quran search result and contains Quran-related information presented in text form, such as the identified Quran verse, its Quran reference, and the selected translation.

The Share Card does not contain, attach, transmit, or share the original voice recording submitted by the user.

When you choose the Share feature, VoiceToAyah may present the sharing options available on your device so that you can select another application or service, such as a messaging application.

Sharing occurs only after an action initiated by you. VoiceToAyah does not automatically send the Share Card to another application or service.

Only the generated Quranic Share Card and its accompanying share text are provided to the application selected by you. Your microphone recording and internal voice-search diagnostic information are not included.

Once you intentionally share the Quranic content with another application or service, that application's own privacy practices apply to the content you choose to send to it.

8. Data Security

VoiceToAyah takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the service.

Voice queries transmitted for processing are sent through secured network connections where supported by the service infrastructure.

Access to production systems and diagnostic information is restricted to operational and development purposes.

VoiceToAyah aims to minimize the amount of information retained and does not retain ordinary production voice recordings after their processing purpose has been completed.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but VoiceToAyah is designed to limit collection and retention to what is necessary for providing, maintaining, securing, and improving the service.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Ordinary voice-query recordings are not retained after processing is completed.

Limited technical diagnostic information may remain in operational server logs for troubleshooting, security, development analysis, reliability, and performance improvement. Such logs are subject to technical log management and rotation.

VoiceToAyah seeks to retain operational information only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes.

Because the current version of VoiceToAyah does not require or provide user accounts, there is currently no VoiceToAyah account or associated account profile for a user to delete.

Users with privacy or data-related questions may contact VoiceToAyah using the contact information provided below.

10. Permissions

VoiceToAyah requests microphone permission because microphone access is necessary for its voice-search feature.

Microphone recording begins only after the user initiates voice search and grants microphone permission. If permission is denied or has not been granted, recording does not begin.

You may control or revoke microphone permission through your device's operating-system settings. If microphone permission is denied or revoked, functionality that requires voice input may not be available.

VoiceToAyah does not request sensitive permissions for unrelated or undisclosed purposes.

11. Optional Account Features in Future Versions

VoiceToAyah may introduce optional account features in future versions.

These features may allow users to sign in through supported account providers and voluntarily use functionality such as bookmarks, favorites, saved search results, or saved voice recordings.

These features are not part of the current release.

If such features are introduced, any optional storage of voice recordings or other user content will be activated only through a clear choice or consent by the user.

VoiceToAyah will explain what information is collected or stored, why it is needed, how it is used, and how the user can manage or delete it before such functionality is enabled.

The VoiceToAyah Privacy Policy and applicable app-store privacy and data-safety disclosures will be updated before these features are made available.

If VoiceToAyah introduces user account creation, appropriate mechanisms for requesting deletion of the account and associated user data will also be provided in accordance with applicable platform requirements.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

VoiceToAyah may update this Privacy Policy when the service, its functionality, its data practices, or applicable requirements change.

When the policy is updated, the revised version will be published on the VoiceToAyah website with an updated effective date.

Material changes affecting how personal or sensitive information is handled will be reflected in the policy and, where required, in applicable app-store disclosures or in-app notices.
